About OmniProfit
A profit calculator built by sellers, for sellers — because nobody should lose money on a sale they thought was a win.
Last updated: January 2026
Why we built it
OmniProfit started the way most useful tools do: with a spreadsheet that kept growing. Our founder was selling handmade goods on Etsy in the US and running a small eBay store in the UK, and by late 2024 the monthly reconciliation had turned into a forty-tab nightmare. Every platform calculated fees differently. Every marketplace added a new line item that year — payment processing rate changes, new regulatory surcharges, FBA restructuring. And when sales started flowing into Germany, the EPR packaging levies and VAT flips turned every listing into a fresh math problem.
The breaking point was a single order. A 38-euro item shipped to Munich, priced using the old US-based rule of thumb, ended up losing 2.40 euros after the real fees landed. Not a disaster on its own. But multiplied across a few hundred orders a month, it was the difference between growing the business and quietly bleeding it dry. The spreadsheet had lied because it was too complex for anyone to actually trust.
We wanted a tool that gave an honest number in under ten seconds. Not a full accounting platform. Not a subscription with a dashboard. Just: what is this listing actually going to earn me, on this platform, in this region, with these fees, this month? OmniProfit is that tool.
Who it's for
OmniProfit is built for cross-border sellers — the people juggling Etsy US, eBay UK, Amazon DE, and a Shopify store on top. If you sell on only one platform in one country, simpler calculators exist. What we do well is show you, side by side, what the same product earns across different marketplaces and regions, with the 2026 fee schedules baked in.
- Handmade sellers on Etsy expanding from the US to the UK and EU.
- eBay resellers juggling multiple regional accounts with different final value fees.
- Amazon FBA sellers modelling referral fees, fulfillment fees, and EPR obligations.
- Shopify merchants comparing self-fulfilled margins against marketplace equivalents.
- Accountants and VAs pricing client inventory across multiple storefronts.
How we build
OmniProfit is, and will stay, free. We have three commitments that shape every decision:
- Your numbers never leave your browser. Calculator inputs live in memory only. We do not store, sell, or log what you price.
- Fee schedules are cited and dated. Every rate in the calculator corresponds to a public fee page we can link to. When platforms change rates, we update here.
- Advertising supports the site, not the other way around. We show one or two ad slots per page. We will never interstitial you, auto-play video, or tuck ads inside the calculator output.
What's next
We are working on multi-item basket modelling (so you can stress-test a catalog, not just one SKU), a CSV import for historical orders, and a German-law-focused EPR reporting helper. If you are a seller with a use case we haven't covered — a marketplace we should add, a regional quirk we have missed — we want to hear about it.
